The Weaknesses of the Pevensies

All humans have weaknesses - surely the Pevensies do too! Now to find what they are.....

Peter
Peter should have been able to handle Edmund better - though Ed wasn't making it easy for him! Also, he shouldn't have led his siblings to hide when Edmund broke the window. And he didn't believe Lucy when she said she saw Aslan....

Susan
Susan should have been nicer and more motherly to Edmund and Lucy. She, also, should not have
hid from Mrs. Macready and led the others to do the same. Especially, she should have kept believing in Narnia!

Edmund
Edmund was always being sour - he could have been a lot nicer if he tried! When Lucy told the others he had gone to Narnia, too, Edmund just told they were playing a game; and broke Lucy's heart. Also, don't talk to strangers, especially those who seem evil! Edmund should not have accepted food from the White Witch, besides. Yet, he could have made it OK, by telling Peter and the rest of his siblings. But he didn't.

Lucy
Lucy does not have many faults. The only one I can think of is that she could have been a little less fussy the first time when the others didn't believe her.

I think is the order of them, from weakest to strongest.

Susan Finds Hope

After Narnia...

Susan woke up to find her husband gone, probably already at work. Then she looked for Mary and Tom, her little children. They, too, were.....gone! Also, Susan had this urge to go see the wreckage. The graveyard...where her family was buried so long ago. She got up, putting on a dress. Then she softly ran to the door and called a taxi to give her a ride to the wreckage of the train from years ago. And then she saw...something. She told the driver to drop her off here. What she saw, she hardly believed her eyes! It was HIM. It was Aslan. Now was the time to repent, for all those years of sin. Susan went to Him, and knelt.

I am sorry..... Susan whispered, hanging her head in shame. Then she exclaimed, "You didn't forget me!"

"Child", said Aslan quietly. "How could I forget you, a queen? But now you must suffer until you are pure enough for the true Narnia...."

Just then, Susan felt pain, sorrow, sickness... and it felt as if it lasted for years. But then, it all stopped. In front of her was golden steps, the pathway to Heaven. That was when she realized: Narnia was true, and the true Narnia will last forever.

The Pevensies 2

Peter
Peter is the eldest who MUST take care of his siblings. Does he like this responsibility? He is crowned as the High King. Again, old responsibility kicking in.
Royal title: Peter the Magnificent
Books he was in: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian,The Horse and His Boy, and The Last Battle. He is also mentioned in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Susan
Susan tries her best to be motherly. She sees Narnia, but in the end, 'makeup' covers her eyes, and she does not see Narnia. She fights reality, and who knows - she may see Narnia again.
Royal title: Susan the Gentle, Susan of the Horn

Books she was in: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and The Horse and His Boy. She is also mentioned in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and The Last Battle.

Edmund
Second youngest, Edmund wants to be listened to. He wins against evil, and finally, he is more noticeable to his siblings.
Royal title: Edmund the Just

Books he was in: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Horse and His Boy, and The Last Battle

Lucy
Lucy has great faith in Narnia and Aslan. This is easier for her, as she is the youngest.
Royal title: Lucy the Valiant
Books she was in: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian,The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Horse and His Boy and The Last Battle

The Pevensies

PETER - Peter's the oldest. He's used to being in charge and taking care of his siblings, and he tries to be responsible and mature. In the books, he has black hair, dark eyes, and dimples - but he has blond hair in the movies (being played by William Mosley).

Title in Narnia: King Peter the Magnificent, High King of Narnia, Emperor of the Lone Islands, Lord of Cair Paravel, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Lion

Name of Peter's sword: Rhindon (he also got a shield from Father Christmas, if my mind is not playing tricks with me)

Fun fact from Wikipedia: An early draft of The Lion begins, "This book is about four children whose names were Ann, Martin, Rose, and Peter. But it is most about Peter who was the youngest."

SUSAN - Susan is the second oldest. Susan is not only matronly (making sure all her siblings are both safe and kept in check), she is also known as being a beauty (she also has dark hair like her brother), both in "the real world" and Narnia. Susan likes to look at things in the logical way, but she also prefers comfort and safety over adventure. These traits, along with hitting the teenage years, moves Susan towards doubt and unbelief about Narnia, preferring "nylons and lipstick and invitations". This move towards "teenage things" is shown in the movie Prince Caspian, when Susan (played by Anna Popplewell).

Title in Narnia: Queen Susan the Gentle

Susan's gifts from Father Christmas: bow and arrows, magical horn

A not-so-fun fact from Wikipedia: Some people (such as J. K. Rowling) state that they "have a problem" with Susan "falling from grace" because of her attitude in The Last Battle. (Well, I have a problem with your opinions.)

EDMUND - Edmund is the younger brother, and a little bit of rebel at the beginning of the series. He begins as "spiteful and mean-hearted" (quote from Wikipedia), like Eustace Scrubb, but he grows into a loyal, kind-hearted, courageous, and logical young man during the course of the series. Although the illustrations in the books show him to have dark hair (like he does in the movie, being played by Skandar Keynes), he is actually described as being a blonde.

Title in Narnia: King Edmund the Just, Duke of Lantern Waste, Count of the Western March, Knight of the Noble Order of the Table

Edmund's gifts from Father Christmas: none, as he was not with his siblings at the time (but he does have his own trusty sword like Peter, of course)

A fun fact (not from Wikipedia): Alyianna's favourite character is Edmund, which is so not a secret ;)

LUCY: Lucy is the youngest of the Pevensies, and is a blonde like her brother Edmund in the books. She is the central character of the four children, being faithful (the one who always trusts Aslan [Narnia's God-figure]), loyal, and kind. Lucy is played by Georgie Henley in the movies. (Sorry Lucy's description is so short - but let's say it's short and sweet.)

Title in Narnia: Queen Lucy the Valiant

Lucy's gifts from Father Christmas: a dagger and a magical healing cordial

Fun fact from Wikipedia: Although reviews of The Oz/Wonderland Chronicles issue 0 indicated that AliceWendy Darling, and Dorothy Gale shared their dorm with Susan Pevensie, a recent review of the now-released issue 1 indicates many fans are believing this is actually meant to be Lucy, and not Susan.
