On Production of The Silver Chair

The Lewis Estate’s seven-year moratorium on Narnia films without Walden Media is still in effect, so “The Silver Chair” cannot be released in theaters before 2018. However, pre-production (scripts, locations, storyboards, casting, etc) has begun. This process usually takes several years.

Do you think Will Poulter, who played Eustace in “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”, could be back for a role in “The Silver Chair”? This I do not think so, for Will is already 22 and looks too old for young Eustace, even now. By the time filming begins, the producers may think this too.

Could Skandar Keynes (Edmund), Georgie Henley (Lucy), and Ben Barnes (Caspian) have small parts in this new film? Could a final script include Edmund and Lucy Pevensie and a young King Caspian?  When “The Silver Chair” begins casting, the producers may call on Ben. The chances of them calling on Skandar and Georgie are little, though.

  1. I think that they should use the same actor for Eustace because if they won't, it wouldn't be the same film with different actors and actors can look younger if they have good make up

    1. Perhaps......And it would look silly if there was a completely different actor for Eustace! :)
